Plungle

Privacy Policy

Effective 20 October 2026

The short version: your answers, streak and stats stay on your device. There are no accounts and no ads. To see how many people play and come back, the website, and the app from version 1.0.1, use Vercel Web Analytics and Google Analytics, with Google's advertising features switched off.

Who we are

Plungle is a daily word game, available as an app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro, and at plungle.vercel.app and krillion.ai. It is run by Plungle (operated by Alexander Canton, Queensland, Australia). "We" and "us" in this policy mean that operator.

The app

The website

The game at plungle.vercel.app and krillion.ai works the same way: your progress is kept in your browser's local storage on your device, and your answers are never sent to us.

Analytics

To see how many people play and how often they come back, the website and the app (from version 1.0.1) use two analytics services. Neither ever receives your answers.

The game events are:

These events never include your answers. Neither service identifies you across other companies' apps or websites. Like any web host, Vercel and Google process your IP address to deliver the service and keep it secure, and use it to work out your country for the totals. Google may process analytics data in the United States and other countries.

This page and the support page load no analytics, fonts or scripts from anyone.

Children

Plungle is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and our analytics never include names, contact details or answers.

Selling and sharing data

We don't sell your data or share it for advertising. Vercel and Google process analytics data only to produce the counts described above.

Deleting your data

We hold no copy of your game, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side. Analytics records aren't linked to your name or contact details, so we can't look up one person's records; Google deletes them after 14 months. Clearing site data (website) or removing the app also resets the analytics ID.

Your privacy rights

We aim to handle privacy in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). Since we don't hold personal information about you, there is normally nothing to access or correct, but you're welcome to ask us about it.

Changes to this policy

If we add a feature that changes what is collected (for example online answer counts or advertising), we will update this policy and its effective date before that feature goes live, and update the App Store privacy details to match.
